About the position:
We are looking for an experienced accounts payable/payroll specialist to join our team! The successful candidate will be well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize. We offer a positive, collaborative environment that encourages personal and professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll in Paycom for over 100 employees.
- Enter and process weekly accounts payable in QuickBooks for 4 offices.
- Update payroll system with benefits enrollments, new hires, etc.
- Reconcile credit card and bank statements in QuickBooks.
- Match packing slips and receipts to invoices and credit card statements.
- Maintain filing system for A/P and financial information.
- Order office supplies for one office, weekly.
- Monitor and update annual calendar of contract renewals.
- Ensure that all office financial policies and procedures are followed.
- Additional administrative and finance projects, as needed.
Details:
- Reports to Manager of Finance and Accounting.
- Works in Westford office, 25-35 hours per week.
- Days in office, Monday – Thurs (option for Wed or Thurs off).
- Pay is dependent upon experience.
- Eligible for annual bonus.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar software).
- Experience processing payroll (Paycom or ADP, or similar), preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel (or similar software).
- Knowledgeable in basic accounting.
- Must maintain confidentiality, sound judgement and discretion, at all times.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized. Able to prioritize daily tasks.
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, team player.
