Pediatrician Opportunity – Join Our Thriving Practice in Beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado
Pediatrics of Steamboat Springs, a well-established and highly respected private primary care pediatrics practice founded in 1999, is seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible pediatrician to join our exceptional, close-knit team.
We are dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based medical care to infants, children, and adolescents through age 18 in a warm, supportive, and family-centered environment. Our philosophy emphasizes personalized attention, honest and respectful partnerships with parents to nurture healthy physical and emotional development, and keeping high-quality care accessible and affordable. Our providers take genuine pride in treating every patient like family.
Our team currently includes five board-certified pediatricians and one nurse practitioner, delivering outpatient wellness visits, acute care, and integrated behavioral health services across our three convenient locations in Steamboat Springs and Hayden. We also provide 365-day/24-hour inpatient call coverage and manage pediatric, nursery, and Level II nursery patients at UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center (with 24/7 neonatal nurse practitioner staffing for first call and high-risk deliveries).
Providers enjoy a balanced schedule averaging 3–4 clinic days per week (including one half-day Saturday per month), with 7–9 call shifts monthly (rotating weekends). We use Epic EMR seamlessly for both outpatient and inpatient care, supporting efficient, coordinated workflows.
