Looking for full time, Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for practice in Americus, Georgia. Extremely competitive pay and benefits package.
Working Hours
Office hours are 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 7 days a week.
Provider will work 4 days a week, with a 1-in-3 weekend rotation included.
Job Responsibilities
- Developmental Primary Care: Provide comprehensive primary care for infants, children, and adolescents, including physical exams, developmental screenings, and the management of pediatric acute and chronic conditions.
- Diagnostic & Clinical Management: Order and interpret age-appropriate diagnostic tests; prescribe medications (incorporating weight-based dosing) and treatments in accordance with pediatric scope of practice.
- Preventive Health & Immunizations: Develop evidence-based wellness plans, focusing on the CDC pediatric immunization schedule, growth monitoring, and early intervention screenings.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate with pediatricians, school-based health services, and specialists to ensure seamless, high-quality care for the pediatric population.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) that reflect pediatric-specific metrics, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Family Advocacy & Health Literacy: Promote health literacy by providing anticipatory guidance to parents and caregivers, empowering families to manage child wellness and safety.
