Position Overview
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy for children birth–3 (Early Intervention) and/or over age 3
- Deliver services in natural environments (home, daycare, community) and clinic settings
- Address speech, language, social communication, feeding, and early literacy skills as appropriate
- Develop individualized plans of care and functional communication goals
- Coach and educate caregivers to support carryover of skills into daily routines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
- Complete timely documentation and reports in compliance with EI and practice standards
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- CPR/First Aid certification
- EI credential or willingness to obtain (Support for the credentialing process provided by PTS)
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred, especially with infants and toddlers
