Pediatric Therapy Specialists (PTS) is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Speech Language Pathologist to join our supportive, collaborative team to work with Early Intervention (birth-3) and over 3 pediatric populations! Position Overview

  • Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy for children birth–3 (Early Intervention) and/or over age 3
  • Deliver services in natural environments (home, daycare, community) and clinic settings
  • Address speech, language, social communication, feeding, and early literacy skills as appropriate
  • Develop individualized plans of care and functional communication goals
  • Coach and educate caregivers to support carryover of skills into daily routines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
  • Complete timely documentation and reports in compliance with EI and practice standards

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Illinois SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • EI credential or willingness to obtain (Support for the credentialing process provided by PTS)
  • Pediatric experience strongly preferred, especially with infants and toddlers
