Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Schedule: Flexible scheduling available (Part time with opportunities to move to Full-Time has desired)
Location: Athens, TN 37303
Setting: Pediatric Outpatient Therapy Clinic
Responsibilities
Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
Provide one-on-one pediatric therapy services focused on improving strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional independenceDocument patient progress accurately and timely
Educate caregivers on home exercise programs and carryover strategiesCollaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, families, and physiciansMaintain a positive, engaging, and child-friendly treatment environment
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active Tennessee PTA license (or eligible for licensure)
Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Passion for working with children and families
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
