Skills Required:
- Pediatric Private Duty Nurse LVN
- Experience with a G-tube, trach, vent, and colostomy bag
- Ability to work with bed ridden/immobile patients
- Ability to work with non verbal patients
Job Summary:
The LVN will be responsible for providing nursing care to a 23 y/o male who weighs roughly around 70lbs. Client has a G-tube, trach, vent, and colostomy bag. Patient is bed ridden, immobile, and non verbal.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor the patient's condition and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Provide emotional support to the patient and their family
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the patient's needs are met
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Communicate effectively with the patient, their family, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- Active LVN license in the state of Texas
- Experience working with non - verbal patient
- Experience working with immobile patient
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
