What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist position at Pediatric Ophthalmology?
Medical office seeking a part-time or full-time Medical Assistant/Receptionist. Responsibilities include taking histories, assisting with exams/medical procedures, and scribing for physician. Front desk duties include answering the phone, scheduling appointments, verifying patient insurance, scheduling surgeries, and checking in/out patients. Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary. At least one year prior experience as a medical assistant/receptionist preferred, but will consider college graduate with plans to attend medical school, PA school, or nursing school. This is not a short term position, so please apply only if you are planning to work for at least one year.
