- Position:Service Specialist I
- Location: Dayton, OH
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p (rotating on-call)
THE POSITION:
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with the patients, families and caregivers as well as all PHS employees.
Schedules and makes deliveries to patients’ homes in a timely manner.
Confirms delivery and reports potentially unsafe conditions.
Performs and instructs the initial set-up of oxygen and some DME.
Performs data entry functions to log customer visits, conversations and follow-ups.
Coordinates regular maintenance service to company vehicles.
Assists with warehouse duties and equipment processing as needed.
Manages time efficiently and be competent in estimating drive times.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or (GED); or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Durable medical equipment (DME) experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills and be able to work independently.
- Warehouse and/or driving experience in the area is a plus.
- Experience in Brightree EHR a plus!

- Valid State Driver’s License (must have a clean record)
