Are you an experienced, organized, and passionate leader ready to oversee exceptional home care services? Our PASA is seeking a dedicated HCA Manager to ensure top-quality delivery of personal care, homemaker, and respite services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and PASA regulations
- Manage and support HCA personnel with scheduling, training, and supervision
- Maintain accurate records including personnel files, organizational charts, reports, and documentation required by the Department
- Oversee orientation and ongoing education for all staff, including 12 hours of annual training
- Act as the liaison between staff, governing body, families, and the community
- Ensure a qualified staff member is designated in writing to act in the managers absence
- Be available or have a designee available during all service delivery hours
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- AND have at least one (1) year of documented supervisory experience in the provision of personal care services
- OR, if no supervisory experience:
- A college degree in healthcare services one (1) year of healthcare work experience within the last 10 years, OR
- A college degree in any field two (2) years of healthcare work experience within the last 10 years
- OR, if no supervisory experience:
- Must have strong communication skills with the ability to engage consumers, families, and providers effectively, including use of translators when necessary
- Must have successfully completed an eight (8)-hour agency manager training course or provide proof of equivalent education/experience
- Must complete 12 hours of related training annually
- Must be familiar with all relevant local, state, and federal home care service laws and regulations
- Previous PASA or HCBS program experience
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance and quality standards
