What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Medical Assistant position at Pediatric Health Care Alliance?
Please be advised, we do not employ: CNAs, PCTs, or HHAs.
We are currently looking for a Clinical Medical Assistant who enjoy working with children and providing quality care to them and their families within our Riverview Clinic.
Hours will vary, but operational hours are as follows:
- Mon-Thurs: 8am - 6pm
- Fri: 8am - 5pm
- Sat/Sun: 8am - 11:30am (rotating weekends, 1-2x shifts per month at a sister site)
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Prior medical experience required, preferably in pediatrics.
- Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows
- Strong customer service skills and positive attitude.
- LPNs must be licensed.
- MA certification is preferred but not required. The company will reimburse testing/renewal fees if the certification is obtained.
Essential Functions:
Perform vitals, administer injections and immunizations, assist with triaging, urinalysis, well visits, rooming patients, and many other day to day back office responsibilities.
