We are seeking a dedicated and organized Pediatric Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in a dynamic dental office environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations, ensuring efficient use of time slots.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to patient visits.
- Utilize dental terminology and medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Maintain patient records, including care plans and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Operate office equipment, including computers, printers, and phone systems.
- Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks as needed.
- Assist in managing inventory of office supplies and dental materials.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care.
- English & Spanish.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using office software, including Dentrix or similar practice management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
