Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant and or Lab Tech to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care within our clinic setting, particularly in an outpatient environment. The Certified Medical Assistantor Lab Tech will be responsible with assisting the providers, helping in the lab and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of service and support. Experience in a Pediatric setting is preferred, as well as knowledge of geriatrics and basic life support.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in the clinic.
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling medical billing.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively while communicating with patients and staff.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Monitor vital signs and document patient information accurately.
- Support the healthcare team in delivering quality care to patients of all ages, including geriatric populations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
- Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and outpatient care practices.
- Experience in a Pediatric clinic or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in providing medical administrative support within a clinical environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications in geriatrics are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $16.08 - $24.00 per hour
