What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant for Pediatric Dental Practice position at Pediatric Dentistry of the Ozarks?
Excellent opportunity for an outgoing individual with strong organization and communication skills to join our pediatric dental practice as a Dental Assistant. Our team is highly dedicated to customer service and excellent dental care for our patients. We are looking for a team member who can confidently build relationships with parents and patients, while assisting the doctor with patient care in a professional and efficient manner. Other responsibilities include greeting patients and parents with a smile, preparing patients for care, discussing oral health recommendations and treatment plans, maintain office instruments and supplies, and more.
You must present well with a professional demeanor, be detail-oriented, and take the initiative on tasks. We seek individuals who share our values – who show integrity in the pursuit of excellence, a passion for their work and are self-motivated to continual improvement, both personally and professionally. Our ideal candidate would have 2 years of experience in a dental assisting position and experience with electronic dental records/software and digital x-ray technology. Preferred BLS/PALS certification and Nitrous Oxide training certification. If no dental experience, we are willing to provide training to the right candidate!
