What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Pediatric Dentistry of San Clemente?
We are a Pediatric and General Dental Office located in San Clemente and Rancho Mission Viejo with a friendly, family-oriented working environment. We are looking for a Dental Assistant who is a team player and quick to learn with a positive attitude.
We are a well-established and thriving practice since 2001 and are searching for the right individual who works well with people, and is willing to learn. Most of our patient population are toddlers, children, teenagers, or young adults - we are looking for someone enjoys working with this age group! We are looking for someone who is personable, professional, and pays attention to details.

Duties / Responsibilities
- Set up rooms, clean up rooms before and after appointments
- Seat patients
- Chairside assisting the doctors with dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions
- Taking phosphor plate digital radiographs on children and adults
- Sterilizing instruments
- Help with computerized charting and note taking
- Keeping the office space clean and sanitary
- Stocking and checking inventory
Requirements
- CPR Certification
Office Hours
- Monday to Thursday
- 8AM - 5PM
Pay
- Contingent on experience and performance, starting at $22/hour
