We are a patient-centered pediatric dental practice committed to creating positive, fun, and high-quality dental experiences for children and their families. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Pediatric Dental Assistant to support our clinical team and help guide daily back-office operations.
Position Overview
The Lead Pediatric Dental Assistant plays a key leadership role in ensuring efficient clinical flow, high standards of patient care, and strong teamwork among dental assistants. This position works an average of 32 hours per week and is ideal for a seasoned pediatric assistant ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the pediatric dental assisting team during daily operations
- Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric procedures
- Ensure clinical protocols, infection control, and safety standards are followed
- Mentor and train new and existing dental assistants
- Manage operatory readiness, supplies, and equipment
- Support patient flow to maintain an efficient and calm clinical environment
- Communicate effectively with doctors, front office staff, patients, and parents
- Model compassionate, child-friendly care at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of pediatric dental assisting experience preferred
- Previous lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Radiology certification required (per state regulations)
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced pediatric setting
- Positive attitude and passion for working with children
Schedule & Compensation
- Average 32 hours per week
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 34.0 per week
