How You'll Succeed

• You conduct well-child visits and sick visits with thoroughness and warmth, making families feel heard and confident in their child's care
• You manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including asthma, ADHD, allergies, and more, with sound clinical judgment
• You communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues, translating complex medical information into language parents can actually use
• You stay current with AAP guidelines and evidence-based pediatric practice
• You collaborate closely with Dr. Akhter and the care team rather than working in isolation
• You handle documentation accurately and efficiently, keeping charts current without letting paperwork consume your day
• You bring a calm, steady presence to stressful moments, because kids and parents are watching

What You Bring

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program
• Current Tennessee Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in good standing
• National board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-PC) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) — PNP preferred
• Current DEA registration or eligibility
• BLS certification
• 3 - 5 years of pediatric clinical experience preferred
• A genuine love for working with children and the families who advocate for them
