We are seeking a high-energy, compassionate Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our team! You will play a vital role in both the front and back office, ensuring our young patients receive excellent care. Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Support: Assist providers with examinations and procedures; maintain a clean, organized, and "kid-friendly" clinical environment.
- Vaccination Specialist: Prepare and administer vaccines according to CDC schedules and office protocols. Accurate documentation of lot numbers and injection sites is essential.
- Paper Charting: Manage and maintain physical patient files with high accuracy, ensuring all notes, lab results, and vitals are recorded clearly and organized properly.
- Patient Flow: Warmly greet families, escort patients to exam rooms, and capture accurate vitals (height, weight, head circumference).
- Administrative & Billing: Handle scheduling, phone triage, and communication with insurance companies to verify coverage and follow billing procedures.
Qualifications
- Vaccination Proficiency (Required): Proven experience and comfort in administering pediatric vaccinations is a mandatory requirement for this role.
- Experience: Previous experience in healthcare administration or a clinical setting.
