PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Content Strategy Manager is a critical role responsible for developing and executing a cohesive, high-impact content strategy that supports patient acquisition while also strengthening engagement, trust, and retention across Pediatric Associates Family of Companies (PAFC).
This role leads the strategy, planning, and optimization of PAFC’s Knowledge Center, blog, and organic social media content, with a strong emphasis on SEO- and GEO-driven acquisition initiatives. While acquisition is the primary focus, content also plays an important role in supporting engagement and retention through educational resources, social storytelling, and patient-facing communications.
The Content Strategy Manager manages one direct report, the Content and Social Marketing Specialist, and partners closely with marketing, patient engagement, clinical, operations, and regional teams to ensure content is accurate, compliant, on-brand, and aligned with organizational goals.
This role reports to the Senior Director of Marketing Agency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and own the content strategy and roadmap for the Knowledge Center, blog, and organic social media platforms.
- Align content initiatives with patient acquisition goals, including SEO- and GEO-driven educational content, partnerships, syndication and gated resources.
- Support engagement and retention initiatives through educational, social, and patient-facing content in partnership with Patient Engagement.
- Partner with the Senior Director of Marketing Agency to define content KPIs and ensure initiatives support broader marketing and business objectives.
- Oversee content planning, production, publishing, and optimization across owned channels.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand standards, clinical accuracy requirements, and HIPAA compliance.
- Manage and mentor the Content and Social Media Marketing Specialist, providing guidance on prioritization, execution, and professional development.
- Guide organic social media strategy across platforms, ensuring alignment with broader acquisition and engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to develop educational resources that address patient needs and clinical priorities.
- Monitor performance metrics for the Knowledge Center, blog, and social channels, and continuously optimize based on insights.
- Own content reporting and analytics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with other digital marketing team members to ensure cohesive, omnichannel strategies that prioritize acquisition while supporting engagement and retention.

Manages and mentors one direct report, the Content and Social Marketing Specialist.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, and social media management.
- 3 years of people management experience, including coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Experience developing and executing multi-channel content strategies, preferably in healthcare or multi-location organizations.
- Proven success using content to drive organic acquisition through SEO/GEO and educational resources.
- Experience managing direct reports and collaborating cross-functionally.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute at a tactical level.
- Excellent writing, editing, and content planning skills.
- Strong understanding of SEO and GEO best practices, content performance analytics, and organic social media strategy.
- Ability to translate complex clinical or technical topics into clear, patient-friendly content.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and handling PHI in digital communications.
- Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
