This is a full-time, in-person position with opportunities to grow within our practice.
What You’ll Do:
As a key member of our clinical team, you will:
- Room patients, collect vital signs, and document in EPIC EMR
- Review and reconcile allergies, medications, and medical history
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Administer immunizations
- Perform screenings and diagnostic tests:
- Fingersticks (HGB, glucose, lead)
- Urine dips & pregnancy tests
- Hearing & vision screenings
- Spirometry
- Glucometer checks
- Complete provider orders and required forms
- Collect specimens and assist with treatments
- Prepare and stock exam rooms
- Support both clinical and administrative tasks as needed
You’ll play a vital role in keeping our office running smoothly while ensuring every child feels safe and cared for.
What We’re Looking For:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (required)
- Pediatric experience (preferred)
- CMA or RMA (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire)
- Experience with EMR systems (EPIC strongly preferred)
- Strong computer skills
- Self-starter with excellent multitasking ability
- Warm, outgoing, team-oriented personality
- Dependable and able to commute to Wilbraham, MA
