This role ensures accurate processing of vendor invoices, customer payments, reconciliations, and maintains compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer requirements. The position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and familiarity with automotive accounting processes.Requirements:Accounts Payable (AP)Process and post vendor invoices (parts, service, sublet, floorplan, utilities, etc.)Match invoices to purchase orders and repair ordersVerify accuracy of pricing, quantities, and approvalsPrepare and process weekly/monthly check runs and electronic paymentsReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesMaintain AP files and ensure proper documentationAssist with month-end close related to AP accounts Accounts Receivable (AR)Post customer payments (cash, checks, credit cards, ACH)Process manufacturer receivables, warranty, and incentive paymentsReconcile AR schedules including customer, manufacturer, and finance receivablesMonitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accountsProcess refunds, chargebacks, and credit memosPrepare daily deposit reconciliationsGeneral Accounting & Dealership SupportAssist with month-end and year-end closing proceduresMaintain accurate records in the dealership management system (DMS)Support audits and provide documentation as neededCommunicate with vendors, customers, and internal departmentsEnsure compliance with dealership policies and internal controlsPerform additional accounting or administrative duties as assigned
