Compensation

Hourly Pay: Earn $15-$18 per hour, based on experience and performance.

Tips: Take advantage of the opportunity to earn generous tips, potentially boosting your hourly earnings to an impressive $35-$55 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Embrace your role as an entertainer, captivating passengers with your lively personality, engaging storytelling, and vast knowledge of Richmond’s rich history and culture.
• Ensure the safety of passengers by skillfully navigating the Pedal Pub through the city’s streets, following traffic laws, and maintaining control of the vehicle at all times.
• Combine your passion for outdoor activities with your love for entertaining by pedaling the Pedal Pub, providing a fun and active experience for both you and your passengers.
• Customer Delight: Exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service, ensuring all passengers feel safe, welcomed, comfortable, and thrilled throughout the tour.
• Familiarize yourself with Richmond’s hidden gems, iconic landmarks, and must-see spots, curating exciting and scenic routes that showcase the best of the city.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting fellow Pedal Pub Pilots and working together as a team to provide exceptional experiences for our customers.
  
  

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older with a clean driving record and no record of DUIs.
• Possess an outgoing and charismatic personality, with the ability to engage and entertain diverse groups of people.
• Enjoy being active and physically fit, as you’ll be pedaling the Pedal Pub for extended periods, creating an energetic and enjoyable experience for passengers.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to passenger safety, with the ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in unexpected situations.
• Communicate effectively, using your clear and enthusiastic voice to engage passengers, provide instructions, and share fascinating stories about Richmond.
• Display a genuine love for Richmond, its history, culture, and local attractions, enabling you to create an immersive and informative experience for passengers.
• Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic, ensuring smooth tour operations and customer satisfaction.
• Embrace a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are prime times for Pedal Pub tours.
