Job Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Stretch wrapping pallets and products for shipment
- Picking and staging products accurately for orders
- Scanning products using handheld
- Operating a pallet jack safely and efficiently
- Performing temperature checks on products as required
- Lifting and moving items weighing up to 70 pounds
Experience Requirements for Shipping Associate
- Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics operations (typically 1–2 years preferred)
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment safely
- Familiarity with handheld scanners or inventory tracking systems
- Experience in food handling or cold storage environments is a plus, especially with perishable goods like poultry
- Knowledge of proper palletizing and stretch wrapping techniques
- Understanding of safety and hygiene standards in a warehouse or food production setting
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 70 pounds) consistently throughout the shift
- Basic math and reading skills for order picking and verification
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
