We are seeking a results-driven Production Supervisor to lead nightly operations in our poultry processing plant. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee production line activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members; provide regular feedback and support.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, with a focus on electrical controls, sensors, and automated machinery.
- Partner with maintenance teams to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime.
- Monitor yields, throughput, and waste; identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare daily reports on production performance, staffing, and equipment needs.
- Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience in production, manufacturing, or food processing (poultry or meat industry preferred).
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, automation components, or industrial controls.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide frontline teams.
- Solid problem-solving ability and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
Physical Demands:
- Working in a cold/wet/damp environment.
- Standing/walking 100% of the workday.
- Lifting various weights as needed basis.
