Job Title: Pre-Op Quality Technician
Summary Description: Perform pre-operational inspection and audits.
Hours- Monday, 130a to 840a** and Tuesday - Friday, 240a to 840a**
1. Must be able to effectively conduct a pre-operational inspection; lock out/tag out with verification and equipment disposition.
2. Must be able to efficiently communicate with all support teams (Sanitation, Maintenance, and Production)
3. Must be able to effectively conduct audits in and around plant, including outside and on the rooftop.
4. Must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the productive floor and effectively navigate to different areas as required.
5. Must exhibit the Peco-Pocahontas values: Safety, Teamwork, Mutual Respect, Accountability, and Honesty.
6. Must be dependable. Number of current occurrences: __*No more than 3.
7. Must keep points below 4.5. If 4.5 points are reached, you could be required to leave the department.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
1. Must be able to stand/walk 100% of the work day.
2. Gripping and repetitive use of hands.
3. Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb stairs/ladders.
4. Must be comfortable working in organic conditions.
