What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor - Night Shift position at Peco Foods?
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising the maintenance and adjustment of all equipment in the processing plant to maximize production and minimize down time; may perform some maintenance as needed.
Essentials Functions:
- Supervise, schedule, and coach maintenance technicians across assigned shift
- Coordinate with Production, Sanitation, QA, and Operations to minimize downtime and support production schedules
- Enforces safety rules; identifies and corrects safety hazards; trains employees on safe job procedures; investigates accidents and takes corrective action to prevent reoccurrences.
- Coordinates all maintenance activities with department to ensure timely repair and preventative maintenance of processing equipment,
- Other jobs or duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or GED
- 3 years of supervisor experience in a maintenance roll
- Prior food manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
