What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Support Specialist position at PECAN VALLEY MH-MR REGION?
Responsible for maintenance of consumer records, ensuring compliance with HIPPA & confidentiality rules and regulations.
Duties involve but are not limited to:
- compiling and checking documents for accuracy
- transporting documents
- maintaining files
- answers inquiries regarding policies and procedures
- assists the public and staff in filling out forms for records request
- files and maintains supplies, forms and records
- may perform data entry and retrieval
- may deliver, pick up, or receive documents, supplies, mail, equipment, or materials
- check for quantity and quality
- make arrangements for repairs and services
- Performs related work as assigned.
- Good typing skills required
- Good spelling skills required
- Some experience in medical records
- Bookkeeping skills preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must have a Texas driver’s license
- Must have a good driving record for the past 3 years
PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, lift at least 25 lbs, reach over head, and sit for an extended period of time.
