Job Summary
We are seeking detail-oriented Sheeter Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating sheeting equipment to produce high-quality sheet materials used automotive, industrial, and aerospace applications. Your expertise will ensure efficient production flow, precise cutting, and adherence to safety standards. PPE Required - Steel toe shoes
Duties
- Operate and monitor sheeting machinery to produce consistent, accurate sheets according to specifications
- Set up and adjust equipment parameters for different materials and thicknesses
- Conduct quality checks on finished sheets, ensuring they meet size and quality standards
- Input data into ERP to create labels
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocol
- Up to 40lbs of lifting
Experience
- Previous experience operating sheeting, slitting or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation is highly desirable
- Background in manufacturing environments with exposure to machining or mechanical systems beneficial
- Strong attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving skills
