Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and restoration, with hands-on experience in various repair and maintenance tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read blueprints and schematics, perform installations, and execute repairs efficiently. The Repair Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all work meets high-quality standards while adhering to safety regulations.
Duties
- Perform repairs and maintenance on residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute construction projects accurately.
- Conduct water damage restoration, mold remediation, and other restoration services as needed.
- Install fixtures, doors, trim carpentry, and flooring with precision.
- Execute plastering, caulking, stucco application, and painting tasks to enhance property aesthetics.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site projects while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide estimates for construction projects based on material costs and labor requirements.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the construction industry with a focus on repair and restoration tasks.
- Strong skills in carpentry, plumbing, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, and airless paint spraying.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and the ability to provide accurate project quotes.
- Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and mold remediation practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with construction work including lifting heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
