We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. This role involves working closely with animals, ensuring their well-being, and assisting with various tasks related to their care.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and exercising them.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management staff.
- Assist with grooming tasks as needed, including bathing and brushing.
- Handle animals safely and effectively, employing proper restraint techniques when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' needs and behaviors.
- Participate in training sessions for dog handling and behavior modification when necessary.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of animal care practices and behavior.

- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes safely and confidently.
