ETL Engineer – Azure
Location: Chicago, IL | Work Mode: 5 days Onsite
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ETL Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Advanced SQL, and database performance tuning. The candidate should be hands-on with large datasets, ETL testing, data validation, and scripting.
Mandatory Skills
- Advanced SQL with strong OLTP & OLAP database knowledge
- SQL performance tuning with large datasets
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) Pipelines
- PowerShell or Unix/Linux scripting
- Experience with Unit/Integration Testing and Data Validation
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with IT teams
Good to Have
- Azure DevOps / GitHub / Git
- CI/CD experience
- Pentaho Data Integration (PDI/Kettle) – strong advantage
- Azure SQL / SQL Server / Synapse experience
