What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2026-2027 School Year - Substitute Nurse Application position at Peaster High School?
EDUCATION: LVN, RN, OR BSN CERTIFICATION
SUB NURSES WILL:
1. Assist the campus lead nurse when needed
2. Act as campus nurse when lead nurse is absent
QULIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program
- Valid license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners
- CPR certification
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Physical, mental, social & emotional nursing assessment skills
- Nursing skill and knowledge specific to pediatric nursing
- Ability to develop student specific case management plans for chronic and acute medical conditions
- work autonomously in school clinical setting
PAY RATE:
- BSN - $115/day
- RN - $105/ day
- LVN- $90/day
