JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title:  Executive Chef Department:     BOH

Rate: $80k - $100k /yr

Reports To:    Chief Operating Officer

SUMMARY

Peas & Carrots Hospitality is looking for an ambitious and talented Sous Chef to join our team of dedicated and passionate food professionals.  Qualified candidates will be organized, driven and possess sound proficiency in cooking techniques and have a deep commitment to quality, an eye for detail and a passion for excellence in dining. Food quality and restaurant cleanliness are some of the  important standards to adhere to.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Menu development and recipe adherence 

• Scheduling and coaching staff

• Working high volume shifts

• Ordering and Inventory of products

• Project a positive attitude

• Maintaining a clean work area and adhering to health department standards all food safety protocols

• Mentorship in the culinary arts

• Create a warm, hospitable work environment for all staff

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Capacity to work in a fast paced environment.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures.
