ROLE OVERVIEW



The Team Manager, Service Product Delivery leads a team of Service Product Providers responsible for planning, developing, and delivering tailored service product experiences for virtual schools. This role ensures the consistent delivery of contextualized professional learning experiences that build staff capacity and support effective implementation of service products and programs. The Team Manager is accountable for building team capacity, upholding shared design and delivery guidelines, maintaining strong school partnerships, and enabling the effective application of global service products in local contexts.



RESPONSIBILITIES



Team Leadership & Capacity Building



  • Manage, coach, and support a team of Service Product Providers, building their capacity to develop and deliver high-quality professional learning experiences.


  • Establish clear expectations for service quality, delivery consistency, and adherence to shared design and delivery principles.


  • Support professional growth and role clarity across areas of expertise and assigned school partnerships.


  • Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement through regular feedback and recognition.


Service Product Delivery Oversight



  • Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of tailored service product experiences across our network of virtual schools.


  • Ensure service product delivery builds adult knowledge, skills, and practice through role-relevant, job-embedded, and practice-centered learning experiences.


  • Balance consistency of service product experiences with flexibility to meet school- specific needs.


Design Standards & Quality Assurance



  • Collaboratively develop and maintain design and delivery principles, guidelines, and quality standards with the Lead of Staff Learning Service Products.


  • Build team understanding and consistent application of shared standards across delivery contexts.


  • Establish feedback, reflection, and review processes to strengthen facilitation quality and staff learning experience.


Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Work with Service Product Managers and school-facing teams to provide capacity-building professional learning that supports schools in achieving their instructional and school improvement goals.


  • Collaborate with Research & Efficacy, Accountability, and other Product and Technology teams to support pilots, refinements, and the evolution of service product offerings.


  • Contribute to change management efforts related to new or evolving service products and programs.


Continuous Improvement & Portfolio Health



  • Use school feedback, participation data, and delivery insights to inform service product experience iteration and process improvement.


  • Monitor evidence of adoption, engagement, fidelity, and practice change to assess delivery effectiveness.


  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across delivery work and surface insights to Product Managers.


  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of service products based on data, research insights, and practitioner feedback.


School Partnership & Service Delivery



  • Carry a small, dedicated caseload of schools, delivering the same tailored professional learning service products expected of Service Product Providers.


  • Partner directly with school-based roles to develop, adapt, and deliver learning experiences aligned to school/role needs, maintaining fidelity to core service product design.


  • Serve as a trusted, hands-on partner within assigned schools, applying facilitation, coaching, and applied learning support to strengthen practice.


  • Model exemplary service delivery standards and bring frontline school insights back to the team to inform coaching, design guidelines, and continuous improvement.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.


  • Experience leading teams responsible for professional learning delivery


  • Demonstrated ability to lead school-facing work and manage complex stakeholder relationships.


  • Demonstrated experience designing professional learning or educational products.


  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles.


  • Experience working cross-functionally in roadmap-driven environments.


  • Strong communication, coaching, and collaboration skills.


  • Experience in virtual or blended learning environments preferred.


Compensation at Pearson is influenced by factors including skill set, experience, and location.



The full-time salary range for this role is $95,000 – $100,000.
