PSC Inc. is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class A Truck Driver to join our team in Northern California (Fremont, CA). This position involves delivering food-grade products to local and regional customers using company-provided equipment.
Our drivers are an essential part of our operation, ensuring that products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time to our customers in the food manufacturing and distribution industry. This role is home daily and supports both warehouse and dispatch operations through consistent communication and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Safe & Timely Deliveries:
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local and regional routes throughout Northern California
- Deliver food-grade products to customer locations in a timely manner using tractor-trailer (dry van) equipment
- Ensure on-time delivery of LTL shipments and maintain service reliability
Loading, Unloading & Equipment Use:
- Use electric pallet jacks to load and unload deliveries at customer locations as needed
- Hook up, unhook, and swap trailers as part of daily operations
- Perform securement checks to ensure freight is properly loaded and transported safely
Inspections & Compliance:
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required compliance documentation
- Follow all DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and company safety policies
- Adhere to food safety standards (SQF/GMP requirements)
Communication & Support:
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers
- Provide timely updates regarding deliveries, delays, or route changes
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused demeanor at all times
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Local/regional routes – home daily

Experience:
- Manual transmission Class A driving: 3 years (Required)
- Hooking and dropping trailers: 2 years (Required)
- LTL and/or food-grade freight experience preferred
