Our client is a U.S. corporate credit and leveraged-loan investment platform. They are looking to hire an Associate Credit Analyst to join their expanding team. The firm participates on the primary and secondary market, performing and stressed (predominantly performing)
About the Role
The Analyst will work as a member of a team to manage a portfolio of US leveraged loans and other investments. The individual would be responsible for performing due diligence, analysing financials, building financial models, conducting company analysis, preparation of investment memos and monitoring of investments.
Responsibilities
• Conduct credit analysis of leveraged loan investments
• Perform due diligence on potential debt investments, including financial and operational analysis, and industry research
• Creation and updates of full financial models with operating model linked to full P&L, cashflow statement and balance sheet
• Research on comparable companies or specific industries
• Understanding and analysis of credit documentation and terms
• Preparation of internal Investment Committee memos
• Creation and maintenance of materials for internal credit ratings
• Regular monitoring of performance of investments
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years experience in leveraged finance
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and modelling skills
- Deep understanding of loan and tranche structures
- Genuine interest in private credit investing
