What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction/Building Trades Teacher position at Pearsall ISD?
Implement and manage the Building Trades program for assigned campus. Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
Valid Texasteaching certificate or proof of past experience in Construction
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of Building Trades
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Ability to supervise agricultural field experiences
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Salary : $55,280 - $73,145
