Job Purpose / Summary
The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing low-voltage electrical components in portable cleaning equipment and pressure pumps, such as pressure washers and truck-mounted small engine-powered cleaning units. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Service Technician will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
- Regularly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
- Replace electrical or mechanical components or parts, using hand and/or power tools
- Operates machines to test the functioning of parts or mechanisms
- Removes and disassembles equipment to inspect parts and functionality
- Utilizes database to identify stock of replacement parts
- Creates order of work outlining parts required, a timeline of repair, and estimated cost
To perform the job successfully, an individual must have the following:
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- General knowledge of hand and power tools, tools are company provided
- Able to read and comprehend manuals, procedures, and other written documents
- A basic mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with small engine repair is a plus, but not required
- Experience with HVAC repair is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- 0% Travel
- Must be able to perform duties in a warehouse environment, which may be non-air conditioned or heated, meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates with the seasons.
- Utilize a computer and other tools for administrative support
- Standing for long periods of time
- Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping
- Lifting of objects up to 50 pounds, on occasion.
Salary : $25 - $30
