About the Role:
A Pearl Lobby Attendant reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper and is responsible for fostering the Pearl culture within the housekeeping department for Pearl Hospitality. The PM Lobby Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming, safe, and orderly environment in the lobby area during evening hours. This position is responsible for managing visitor flow, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the lobby's cleanliness and organization. The attendant serves as the first point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries and providing directions or information as needed. Additionally, the role involves monitoring security protocols to safeguard the premises and promptly reporting any unusual activities. Overall, the PM Lobby Attendant contributes significantly to creating a positive and professional atmosphere that reflects well on the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work evening shifts, typically from late afternoon to late evening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of safety and security procedures.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during the shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles.
- Familiarity with visitor management systems or security protocols.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Bilingual skills to assist a diverse visitor population.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors entering the lobby during evening hours with professionalism and courtesy.
- Monitor lobby activities to ensure safety and compliance with building policies and security procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the lobby area, including seating, informational displays, and entryways.
- Manage visitor check-in and check-out processes, including verifying identification when required.
- Respond promptly to visitor inquiries, providing accurate information or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Report any maintenance issues, security concerns, or emergencies to the appropriate departments immediately.
- Collaborate with security and facilities teams to uphold a secure and welcoming environment.
