What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director of Nursing position at Pearl Pavilion?
Requirements:
- RN or LPN (current and active)
- BLS certificate
- Able to stand for hours at a time
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Prefer:
- Experience with LTC
- Experience with Restorative
- Experience with Wounds
- Experience with PCC and eMAR
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
Tasks for this position include, but not limited to:
- On call to work the floor every other week.
- Perform assessments, update care plan, implement, obtain orders, and monitor restorative programs.
- Round with wound Dr. weekly, perform assessments for wounds, ensure treatment orders for wounds, update care plan and monitor wounds.
- Participate with Fall meeting daily, implement interventions, and update care plan.
- Participate with QAPI monthly.
- Assist DON with in-services, audits, and survey preparations.
- Able to work Mon-Fri 1100 to 1900.
