We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our cleaning and sanitation operations across healthcare facilities or commercial environments. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping staff to ensure consistent delivery of cleaning services aligned with healthcare infection prevention and control standards or commercial cleaning protocols
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas are maintained according to safety and sanitation guidelines
• Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, use of cleaning equipment, manual handling, and safe lifting practices
• Monitor compliance with OSHA safety regulations and environmental services protocols to promote a safe working environment
• Oversee the proper handling and disposal of chemical agents used in cleaning processes while adhering to safety protocol adherence
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met and identify areas needing attention or improvement
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, laundry products, and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and usage
• Collaborate with healthcare or facility management teams to support infection prevention efforts and maintain compliance with health regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial services, custodial work, or healthcare facilities housekeeping with a strong understanding of hospital or commercial cleaning standards
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to chemical handling, manual handling, heavy lifting, and safety protocol adherence
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of sanitation and customer service
• Familiarity with floor care techniques, sanitation procedures, laundry operations, and the use of various cleaning equipment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop schedules and manage supplies efficiently
• Excellent communication skills to train staff and coordinate with management teams
• Healthcare infection prevention and control expertise is highly preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices
