Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Engage with guests warmly, providing outstanding customer service that exceeds expectations
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic retail math to ensure smooth transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and café spaces
- Assist with food handling, food prep, and serving to deliver fresh, quality products
- Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking seamlessly
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar food service role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach
- Effective time management to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales calculations
