Machinist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an entry level Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an associates degree in machining from a local trade school.

Responsibilities:

- Operation of CNC machine tools including setup/removal of tooling and fixturing

- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications

- Inspect finished pieces using precision measuring instruments like calipers, bore gauges, and micrometers

- Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance

- Assemble parts to create finished products

Requirements:

- Personal accountability

- An interest in learning and constantly attempting to do your work better

- A beginners understanding CNC machining G-code for mills and lathes

- Some amount of CAM training is desirable but not required, if you have experience place provide the details in you application

- Communicates and works well with others

- Knowledge of machine tool tooling including tool holders, cutting tools and inspection equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
