To-Go Packer/ Customer Service
No restaurant experience required-we are willing to train the right person.
We are small take-out looking for reliable, responsible, and hardworking team members to join our team.
This position is more than just packing food. You will interact with customers, answer the phone, take orders, communicate with the kitchen, and make sure every order is accurate and complete.
Responsibilities
-Pack and double check take-out orders
-Answer the phone and take customer orders
-Take walk-in orders and assist customers
-Check online orders and communicate order and special requests to the kitchen
-Learn and understand our menu so you can answer customer questions
-Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
-Keep the to-go/expo area clean and organized
-Refill utensils, sauces, garnishes and other items when needed
-Complete assigned cleaning and side work during slower periods
-Follow food safety and good personal hygiene practices
-Help with other restaurant tasks when needed

Experience is not required. We are more interested in finding someone who is reliable, willing to learn, and takes responsibility for their work.

-Communicate comfortably and politely with customers
-Be able to work independently
-Stay focused during working periods
-Complete assigned tasks with constant reminders
-Pay attention to details and care about order accuracy
-Keep the work area clean and organized
-Have good personal hygiene
-Be willing to help the team when needed
About work environment
Our restaurant has fairly steady business throughout the day, with occasional short rush periods and slower periods.
We understand that there will be downtime. We do not expect employees to look busy every minute when there is genuinely nothing to do.
During slower periods, employees may have personal downtime after their assigned responsibilities are completed.
However, we expect employees to:
-Complete assigned work before personal downtime
-Stay aware of customers and incoming orders
-Be ready to help when business picks up
-Take responsibility for their work without needing repeated reminders
Daily side work is generally light and may include tasks such as cleaning counters, the restroom, windows, floors, or other area of the restaurant. Assignment change from day to day.
We will teach you our menu, systems, and procedures. We do not expect you to know everything when you start. What we do expect is that you are willing to learn, stay focused, and finish what you are responsible for.

Pay: $17.13 - $25.00 per hour
