The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, compassionate, and friendly with experience in all aspects of probate matters, including probate litigations and hourly billing. An ability to maintain calm and friendliness while multitasking is essential. This position is the primary point of contact for all probate clients. Exemplary customer service skills are essential. BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 3 years of probate paralegal experience, including probate litigation experience, is required
- Thorough knowledge of probate processes, procedures, and systems required
- Experience with entering time for hourly billing purposes and familiarity and comfort with reasonable hourly billing requirements
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Tremendous attention to detail
- Estate Planning experience a strong bonus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook required
- Bilingual in Spanish a bonus
- Prompt, responsible, accountable, and trustworthy
- College degree a plus but not required
- Ability to follow direction and adhere to firm policies and procedures a must
