What Success Looks Like
- You confidently manage a full criminal caseload (misdemeanor and felony)
- You are comfortable handling court appearances, hearings, and negotiations independently
- You begin contributing to civil and probate matters as you ramp
- You adapt across practice areas while maintaining strong productivity
- You contribute to both client outcomes and firm revenue growth
- Represent clients in criminal defense matters, including DUI, misdemeanor, and felony cases
- Handle court appearances, hearings, negotiations, and case strategy
- Draft motions, pleadings, and legal documents across matters
- Assist with and develop probate and civil litigation cases (training provided)
- Support future expansion into domestic relations matters as the firm grows
- Maintain consistent and professional client communication
- Work closely with paralegals to ensure efficient case progression
- Licensed and in good standing in Colorado
- Minimum 2 years of criminal law experience, including misdemeanor AND felony cases (required)
- Prior experience as a Public Defender or Deputy District Attorney strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage a high caseload with accountability and efficiency
- Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills
- Interest in expanding into probate, civil litigation, and domestic relations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
