Role Description The Medical Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based at Peaks of Health Metabolic Medical Center in Largo, FL. This position manages front desk operations, including greeting patients, checking them in and out, verifying demographics and insurance information, and ensuring a welcoming experience. Daily responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, scheduling and confirming appointments, managing provider calendars, and coordinating patient flow in the office. The Medical Receptionist also supports basic administrative tasks such as handling patient correspondence, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with clinical and billing teams to support efficient office operations.
Qualifications
- Strong Receptionist Duties skills, including greeting patients, managing check-in/check-out, and maintaining a professional front desk environment.
- Proficiency in Appointment Scheduling and coordinating provider calendars to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Excellent Phone Etiquette, with the ability to handle high call volumes, route calls appropriately, and provide clear, courteous information.
- Familiarity with Medical Office procedures, including basic administrative tasks, record maintenance, and working within a healthcare team.
