Position Overview
Spring River Rehab is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care to residents in a skilled nursing environment. This role is essential in supporting residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well-being.
As a CNA, you will work collaboratively with licensed nursing staff and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, person-centered care in alignment with individualized care plans and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately obtain, document, and report vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure, notifying licensed nursing staff of any changes
- Assist residents with mobility needs, including safe transfers, ambulation, and repositioning in accordance with care plans and safety guidelines
- Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Respond promptly and professionally to call lights and resident requests, ensuring timely and respectful care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with infection control and safety protocols
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Adhere to all facility policies, as well as state, federal, and infection prevention regulations
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of New Mexico, in good standing with no findings on the Nurse Aide Registry
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team-oriented clinical environment
- Strong critical thinking skills and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
