Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility
- Ensure the highest quality of care is provided to residents at all times
- Implement and monitor policies, procedures, and nursing protocols in accordance with regulations
- Collaborate with the Staff Development Coordinator to lead the design, implementation, and oversight of staff education, training, and competency development programs
- Inspire and mentor nursing staff through active engagement, coaching, and professional development
- Foster strong collaboration with medical providers, interdisciplinary teams, and families to ensure exceptional care coordination
- Drive a culture of accountability, compassion, innovation, and ethical excellence
- Lead with a growth mindset—embracing feedback, celebrating successes, and modeling curiosity and adaptability
- Active RN license in the state of New Mexico (or eligibility for licensure)
- 3 years of nursing experience in long-term care or rehabilitation preferred. (Leadership is a plus)
- Enthusiastic leadership style with a desire to support and develop new nurses
- Confidence in leading training, facilitating learning, and building team culture
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a heart for service
- A mindset focused on growth, inclusion, and innovation
- A commitment to ethical decision-making and continuous improvement
