ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proficient Construction Project Manager to lead the execution of high-end residential projects, often complex and large in scale. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cost & Billing Management: Track and manage budgets proactively. Support timely and accurate billing through collaboration with finance and accounting teams. Ensure subcontractor billing aligns with contract terms, project progress, and draw schedules.
  • Subcontractor Management: Source, onboard, and manage subcontractors, ensuring high-quality work, accountability, and adherence to deadlines. Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct frequent site inspections and coordinate with consultants to verify that workmanship meets luxury standards and design intent.
  • Issue Resolution: Quickly identify and resolve issues such as field conflicts, procurement delays, or design clarifications to minimize disruptions.
  • Permitting & Compliance: Manage all permitting requirements and ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the point of contact for clients, architects, designers, and consultants. Provide clear, consistent updates and foster positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Technology & Reporting: Utilize Buildertrend or similar project management platforms to manage schedules, documents, RFIs, and budget tracking. Ensure up-to-date, accurate reporting to stakeholders and internal leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in residential construction, with at least 5 years in a luxury market.
  • Demonstrated success in managing luxury residential construction projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and software tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Experience managing large-scale residential projects ($3M ), especially with luxury or custom home clients.
  • Deep understanding of finishes, millwork, and bespoke material installation workflows.
  • Familiarity with design-build or integrated delivery models.
  • Proficiency in Buildertrend, Procore, CoConstruct, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to maintain a balance of schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction in fast-paced, high-expectation environments.
