Our partner is seeking a Director of Construction to lead execution of utility-scale solar and BESS projects across ERCOT and other key U.S. power markets.
This senior leadership role is responsible for delivering complex renewable energy projects safely, on time, and on budget. While driving execution excellence across a growing portfolio.
What you’ll do:
• Lead end-to-end construction execution for utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) projects
• Oversee EPC delivery, including management of subcontractors, field teams, and site activities across multiple concurrent projects
• Own project schedules, cost control, and risk management across ERCOT and aligned markets
• Implement and enforce rigorous safety, quality, and performance standards
• Partner with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Develop scalable construction processes and mentor regional construction leaders
Experience:
• 10–15 years of construction leadership experience in renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure
• Demonstrated success delivering utility-scale solar and/or BESS projects (ERCOT experience strongly preferred)
• Strong command of EPC contracting structures, project controls, and execution strategy
• Experience managing multi-site construction programs with geographically distributed teams
• Deep understanding of grid interconnection, permitting, and regional market considerations
